End of Support for Canadian Bell TV on i-Series Systems
Last October, changes were implemented on Bell TV’s satellite configurations (Bell 91 and Bell 82). As a result, the Intellian i-Series systems are no longer able to decode the signal and track the satellite effectively. The i-Series would require both hardware and software changes for continued interoperability.
Previously Bell TV was using QPSK as a modulation mechanism, now they are using 8PSK Turbo which the i-Series hardware was never designed to decode.
Intellian has carefully reviewed the necessary modifications required for Bell TV interoperability. It does not make business sense to perform these significant modifications to the i-Series; additionally, if changes were engineered, it would require a costly customer-paid modification kit.
Before October, all Intellian i-Series systems were compatible with Bell TV and performed to all specifications advertised. Due to changes outside of our control, we must announce end of support for the i-Series with Bell TV. Intellian will not accept refunds, returns, or exchanges due to this situation outside of our control.
