I am considering purchasing the Shaw Direct Satellite Dish Camping combo. I have a couple of older receivers and wondering if it is compatible with the DSR 315 or DSR 505, or if I'll have to buy a new receiver.

Your old receivers are no longer useable. Both will need to be replaced.

Can you confirm that this is the model with NO PVR and will operate with a SINGLE cable input from the satellite? Thanks!

The Shaw Direct 600HD and 800HD both only need one cable in from the satellite dish.

What receiver models are there?

Shaw Direct currently offers 2 receiver models. The new HDDSR800 HD receiver and the HDPVR830 Personal Video Recorder. The HDSR600 and the HDPVR630 have been discontinued since summer 2017.
