What size/grade of cable do I require to extend longer than the first 25ft?
Both Bell and Shaw require RG-6, using RG-59 will cause signal loss.
For grade, the more shield the better. Though there is no standard for base installation, at least dual shield is recommended. Triple and quad shielded is good up to 100' without issue.
